to see my scrapbooking desk? Be prepared because I am not a clean scrapbooker.
For me, creativity = big huge mess. But it's all good. The messier my desk is,
the more creative I am.
I mentioned a few
post back that wanted to do project life. Well, I really wasn't feeling the
standard way and set out to find a way that would suit my style, but I wasn't
having much luck. I tried my own version with divided page protectors but it
took too much planning for something that was supposed to be fun. When it comes to scrapbooking, I AM NOT A
PLANNER. I just like to throw caution to the wind and do whatever feels right
in the moment. Thinking and planning, ruins my creativity so the
"traditional" Project Life was out.
When I was browsing
the clearance end caps, at Target the other day I found this (and a coupon
holder for another project!):
Looks like a plain
old notebook, huh? Nope. It's a yearly planner with a calendar for each month
and tons places for writing, stamping, pictures, and just being creative. When
I saw it I knew exactly what I was going to use it for. My 'smash' version of Project
Life. It seemed as though it was made
for a scrapbooker…or a really busy person. Here's what I have so far.

It's funny, how I'm
using a planner, while not being a planner at all. I don't even have a calendar in my
house. Even so, I think I've found the
perfect solution for my own version of Project Life. Now I
actually can't wait to dive in an document my [boring, uneventful] Life.

Awesome!!! Love your take on PL. I'm not a big planner but i try to write little notes, which i then lose anyway ha!
